Lock Down Rug 2
Woven on my 4 shaft loom on the remaining warp from my previous rug. The pattern is Vertical Herringbone twill. This time I plaited the warp threads for the fringe knotted the ends and split each warp thread into two.
Hand Woven floor rug
Woven on my Leclerc 45 inch floor loom. 6 EPI . Jute warp with thick carpet wool for the weft. It was hard on the hands to knot the fringe but a pair of pliers helped to tighten the knots!

Pinwheel Plaid Scarf
I wove this on my 8-shaft loom. I used cashmere and fine wool in 3 shades of blue, and black. it was quite an interesting project as, while weaving, there were 6 calculations on the go at the same time. Not one I could do with earphones in listening to music!
Birthday Sweater
I bought this Merino and Linen fibre late 2019, the linen content gave the yarn an interesting texture. I knitted my first yoked sweater, my daughters birthday gift and had enough left for the hat and scarf which will be a gift for my granddaughter.

Warp Faced Table Mats
This set of 4 table mats were to have been part of the project and raffle for the Guild Open Day which is cancelled due to the Coranvirus. They are made of cotton, the thick rep weave has 6 strands for added insulation and effect.

Lap Waste project
This project started on a visit to World of Wool where I spent time rooting in their lap waste bin, I selected quite a few different colours and blended them on my board, after plying I knitted the open sided cardigan pictured and I am very pleased with the results.
Merino and Bamboo Shawl
I bought this lovely fibre at the Dumfries Gathering in 2018 and managed to spin a reasonably fine yarn, I am very pleased with the result.
